The Dawson Eagles are a professional basketball team based in Dawson, Mungyeong, Duwamish. They are part of the Eastern Conference of the Duwamish Basketball Association (DBA). The team was established in 1955 as a founding member of the Duwamish Basketball League (DBL). The team was one of the eight original members of the DBA after breaking away from the DBL in 1992. They originally played their games at the North Dawson Center before moving to UD Arena in 2008. By far the most successful team in DBA, the Eagles have 10 DBA championships and 14 Pacific Conference championships. They are one of the "big 3" that have won the championships, also including the Goodwin Lakers (5 championships) and the Kalama Pirates (2). Along with the other two "big 3" teams, the Dawson Eagles briefly joined the SimSports Basketball Association (SBA) before it folded. The Eagles are owned and operated by North Dawson Athletics, owner of the North Dawson Athletic Club, which includes a soccer club and futsal club.
